Color: Refers to the presence or absence of color in a diamond. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades diamonds on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown).

Cut: Describes how well a diamond has been shaped and faceted. It's not just about the shape (like round, princess, or emerald), but also about the proportions, symmetry, and polish. A well-cut diamond reflects light brightly and beautifully - enhancing its sparkle and overall appeal.

Clarity: Indicates the presence of any internal or external imperfections, known as inclusions and blemishes, respectively. The clarity scale ranges from “Flawless” (no imperfections visible under 10x magnification) to “Included” (imperfections visible to the naked eye).

Carat: Represents the diamond's weight, with one carat equal to 0.2 grams. Larger diamonds are generally more valuable, but the other three Cs also play a significant role in determining a diamond's overall worth.

Yes! We’re happy to provide repairs and adjustments free of charge for the first year after purchase - just pay shipping and handling. After the one-year mark, all adjustments and repairs will incur a small fee. Please email us at hello@houseofrivajewelry.com if your jewelry piece needs to be repaired/adjusted.

We also offer unlimited jewelry cleaning, stone tightening, and rhodium treatments to ensure your jewelry piece always looks dazzling! Just cover shipping and the House of Riva team will take care of the rest.

While we are unable to offer returns on custom pieces, we’re happy to make adjustments to the piece as needed. Returns for ready-to-wear pieces are handled on a case-by-case basis, please reach out to hello@houseofrivajewelry.com if you’d like to make a return.
